What do the book conditions mean?

As all our books are second-hand, the condition of them varies. FAIR CONDITION These books show their history but still have plenty of life left. While they may have modest wear like faded spines or light page discoloration, all content remains fully intact and readable. GOOD CONDITION You'll find only subtle signs of use in these quality books - perhaps a barely-turned corner or faint shelf wear. They're clean, complete, and ready for their next reader to enjoy. GREAT CONDITION These gems could pass as brand new. Whether unread or exceptionally preserved, they show virtually no signs of handling.
What books can I donate?

We accept almost all books in good, readable condition: ✅ Fiction (novels, poetry, plays) ✅ Non-fiction (biographies, histories, academic, craft) ✅ Graphic Novels/Comics ✅ Children’s books (no missing pages, no scribbled in pages) ✅ Textbooks (<10 years old) ✅ Coffee table books (no major damage) We cannot accept: ❌ Torn, stained, or water-damaged books ❌ Books with mold/smoke odor ❌ Magazines/catalogs (except niche artistic journals) ❌ Encyclopedias older than 2010 Unsure? What is your returns policy?

As all of our books are recycled, we do not accept returns. If your order is incorrect or the book has been damaged, please contact us at hello@ecoread.org
Can I cancel my order?

If you decide not to go ahead with your purchase please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. If your order has not already been dispatched a full refund will be issued.
